March 29 is the deadline to register for the annual Expanding Your Horizons Conference scheduled for April 12 at Sonoma State University.  The conference is particularly geared toward 7th and 8th grade girls and young women to encourage them to take more math and science in school in order to increase their educational and career options.  The conference consists of hands-on workshops led by women in profressions which use math and science such as medicine, engineering and business.  You can register online at http://eyh-soco.org or call 707.664.2241 for more information.  The registration fee is $15 which includes a snack and lunch.  However, scholarships are available.
